3D & Graphic Designer with experience in a biometric systems company, producing polished visual assets with a strong eye for detail. Skilled in layout, typography, and precise 3D modelling and rendering to create clean, high-quality visuals. Transferable strengths include applying the same accuracy to social media and marketing materials, ensuring every design element is consistent, well-crafted, and visually effective.
Throughout this degree I have learned how to design from concept to final prototype, and to manage individual and group projects. Main technical skills include 3D modelling, animation, texturing, and simulations. Software used: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 5, Unity, Houdini, and Nuke. I have also developed strong group working and leadership skills, learning to listen to team members and provide constructive criticism.
I learned to use Photoshop effectively and gained teamwork and leadership skills across multiple projects. For the final year project, I created a puzzle video game in Unreal Engine. The project followed three phases: research (exploring themes and generating ideas), planning (timetable and workload prioritisation), and execution (with a critical reflection highlighting areas for improvement). This course provided the foundations to further develop my creative and technical skills.
Specialised in high-precision graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create complex visual artefacts for biometric system testing. Developed advanced expertise in photo editing, typography, typeface matching, and accurate layout replication. The role demanded exceptional attention to detail, consistency under pressure, and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. I also taught new methods to other designers on the team.
